Christmas at Courteenhall – a magical celebration awaits

On 27th and 28th November, Courteenhall Estate will open its gates for an exclusive Christmas festive market with stall holders aplenty, the chance to pick out your perfect Christmas tree and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas too (if you’re on the nice list!)

Managing Partner, Dr Johnny Wake is delighted that Courteenhall will be hosting the event as part of several community projects the estate has been involved with recently. These include supporting the Country Trust and local primary schools with their school visits, funding new kit for both Blisworth Football Club and Roade Tennis Club, and sponsoring and hosting the local charity Home-Start.

Johnny said ‘it’s wonderful to be able to get everyone together as a community to celebrate Christmas after such a challenging period. The Christmas Fair will showcase numerous local businesses, food and drink specialists, retailers and crafts people and provide those that attend with a truly memorable and joyous experience’.

The Christmas fair is open to everyone, for just £4 per person (children under 12 go free).

On Saturday 27th November morning entry is from 11am to 3pm or afternoon from 3pm to 7pm.

Courteenhall is a traditional, rural estate located in South Northamptonshire. It has been home to the Wake family for over 300 years. The house has been scarcely altered since it was built in 1791 and is a beautiful example of a neo-classical country house.

Immediately surrounding the house are pretty formal gardens, a relaxing water feature and then beyond, over 100 acres of parkland.

The four main business activities on the Estate are Farming & Contract services, Property Management, Events and Filming & Photoshoots.

Courteenhall Farms are a progressive arable operation stretching across 850ha. The main cropping rotation consists of Winter Wheat, Oil Seed Rape and Pulses. Courteenhall takes great pride in the quality and performance of its farming operation.

Courteenhall Property Management is established in offering a number of residential and commercial properties in the village and elsewhere over the Estate.

Courteenhall Events offers exclusive venue hire of Courteenhall House and its grounds for a number of occasions including Weddings, Corporate events, and Private Parties.

Courteenhall Filming & Photoshoots provides location Managers and Photographers a unique venue to stage all kinds of sets from a historical drama to a woodland whimsical wedding photo shoot.
